We dont just implement technology. We co-create solutions with the people who amplify justice, expand access, and strengthen the front lines of change. Were not hiring employees. We are gathering thresholders, people who bring both technical rigor and a deeply human way of showing up.

  • Contributes to a positive team culture and brings joy to the work
  • Enjoys tech, but loves what tech makes possible even more
What you will do
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data integration solutions, data pipelines, and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and operational systems.
  • Collaboratively define data-related requirements, including validation rules, field mappings, and transformation logic, ensuring that business context is preserved.
  • Analyze, identify, and proactively communicate data limitations, anomalies, and trade-offs that might impact the end solution and requirements.
  • Lead data migration planning and execution, including mapping, cleansing, and validation.
  • Optimize database and storage solutions for performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with architects and analysts to design data models, ensuring alignment with business reporting and analytics needs.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, quality assurance, metadata management, and data security.
  • Support data extraction and transformation efforts for the creation of dashboards, reports, and AI/ML models.
  • Actively participate in testing and validation cycles, ensuring data quality.
  • Consistently meet agreed-upon timelines.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation practices for pipelines, transformations, and schema designs so that downstream teams can interpret and rely on data without guesswork.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and tools in cloud data engineering, data integration, and Microsoft technologies.
  • Proactively develop nonprofit sector knowledge to build user-friendly, mission-aligned technology solutions.
  • Embrace a growth mindset by actively learning new technologies, tools, and consulting practices that strengthen client impact and solution quality.
  • Support internal initiatives to improve engineering standards, development processes, and solution delivery frameworks.
