Job summary

CDW is seeking a Software Engineer / Data Engineer to design, implement, and support governance and data engineering solutions using Informatica tools and Snowflake in a 1-year contract.

The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, managing metadata and data lineage, and ensuring data quality while collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Informatica Data Governance tools.
• 5+ years of experience with API integrations and workflow automation.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of enterprise information management and data governance best practices.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop data ingestion, transformation, validation, and workflow automation processes.
• Manage data cataloging, metadata management, data lineage, and stewardship workflows.
• Design and optimize Snowflake data solutions, including SQL development and performance tuning.
• Support API integrations and cloud platform connectivity.
• Monitor data quality, reliability, and governance compliance across enterprise data assets.
• Create documentation for data models, transformation rules, and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot data issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve defects.

The role will build scalable data pipelines, implement governance frameworks, manage metadata and data lineage, ensure data quality, and integrate cloud-based data platforms while partnering with business stakeholders, data stewards, and technical teams.
