Job summary

A technology-led organization is hiring AWS Cloud Engineers to enhance and modernize their AWS platform across multiple projects. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing AWS serverless and data platforms, while automating infrastructure for performance. Applicants should have strong experience with AWS Glue and Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK. This is a fully remote position with a 12-month contract and a high likelihood of extension.

This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, working on serverless and data-driven architectures with real ownership over solutions.

Responsibilities

• Building and optimising AWS serverless & data platforms
• Designing clean, scalable architectures
• Automating infrastructure and pipelines for performance and reliability
• Strong experience with AWS Glue
• Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK
• Databases: DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL (Oracle or SQL Server a plus)
• 12-month contract (high likelihood of extension)
• Fully remote / flexible working
• Collaborative engineering environment with genuine technical ownership
