The Senior Consultant I - Data Engineer at American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) designs, builds, and maintains data infrastructure and pipelines to power analytics, reporting, and AI/ML across the organization.
You will work with clients and cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to proposals while delivering scalable ETL workflows on cloud platforms. Strong governance, quality controls, and collaboration across data engineering and AI initiatives are required.
The Senior Consultant I - Data Engineer provides technical expertise on project tasks under the supervision of a project manager to deliver quality services on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with customer requirements. In this role, the incumbent designs, builds, and maintains data infrastructure and pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML systems across the organization. Working at the intersection of data engineering, data architecture, and emerging AI tools, the Senior Consultant I helps ensure data assets are high-quality, accessible, and properly governed. As part of a project team, this position also maintains relationships with clients and key decision makers to support project success and help identify new business opportunities.
Salary: $120,000 - $155,000
Reports to a manager, director, or executive-level position and does not have any direct reports.
