Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Smithfield, RI. This is an on-site role for candidates located within commuting distance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical skills and a passion for building high-value data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong expertise in SQL/PLSQL.
• 2+ years of Python development experience.
• Experience with Unix scripting and scheduling tools.
• Solid understanding of AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Proficient in data modeling (Dimensional or Data Vault).
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica (preferred).
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
• Proficient in SQL performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiar with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, Stash, Concourse, and Artifactory.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM) is a plus.
• Strong data analysis skills and a proven ability to work independently and manage deliverables.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
