About the Role

This role will partner with Data Architects, ETL Engineers, and research teams to develop trusted data assets, reusable data pipelines, and AI-ready datasets that drive healthcare insights.

This is a fully remote opportunity, but candidates must be able to attend occasional onsite meetings in Salt Lake City.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and data products
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes
• Create data solutions that support analytics, AI, and research initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted, high-quality data assets
• Support data integration, interoperability, and advanced data linkage efforts
• Ensure data quality through testing and development best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience building enterprise data solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML or analytics platforms
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, etc.)
• Knowledge of OMOP data structures
• Experience with cloud data platforms and DevOps practices
• Front-end development experience for metadata management solutions
