Insight Global in Nashville, TN seeks a Senior Data Engineer to accelerate our data modernization initiative. You will design, build, and maintain scalable pipelines, ingest SAP data sources, and transform data into reporting-ready datasets that drive business insights.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of data engineering experience, expert Snowflake, Fivetran, and DBT skills, deep warehousing knowledge, and a track record of delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Our client is undergoing a major data modernization initiative focused on building a scalable analytics and reporting platform. After successfully completing a proof of concept, the organization is preparing to move into implementation and is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help accelerate the ingestion, transformation, and optimization of enterprise data sources.

This individual will work closely with the Data & Analytics leadership team, partnering directly with internal stakeholders to transform SAP and other enterprise system data into reporting-ready datasets that drive business insights. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, highly technical, and capable of making an immediate impact with minimal ramp‑up time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Fivetran and Snowflake.
• Ingest, transform, and optimize data from SAP and other enterprise applications.
• Partner closely with internal data and business teams to create reporting‑ready datasets.
• Support the implementation and expansion of the organization's data modernization strategy.
• Enable the onboarding of multiple enterprise data sources while maintaining data quality and governance standards.

Day-to-Day

• Work alongside the lead data resource supporting the modernization initiative.
• Build and maintain data pipelines from SAP and other enterprise systems into Snowflake.
• Cleanse, transform, and model data for downstream reporting and analytics consumption.
• Support multiple concurrent data ingestion efforts to meet growing business demand.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend best practices for scalability and performance.
