Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field or practical experience.
  • Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms like Azure or Snowflake.
  • Experience with Python and/or C# and ETL tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support data solutions using Azure SQL and Snowflake.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to analyze data and validate results.
  • Perform data comparisons and reconciliation across datasets.
  • Build and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
  • Execute data loads and QA checks to ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team to support data delivery and reporting needs.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.

What You'll Do

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting critical data operations and delivering high-quality data solutions. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, enhance, and support data solutions using Azure SQL and Snowflake
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and validate results
  • Perform data comparisons and reconciliation activities across multiple datasets
  • Utilize SQL concepts including joins, subqueries, and data validation techniques
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and SSIS
  • Execute data loads, perform quality assurance checks, and ensure data accuracy
  • Collaborate with team members to support data delivery and reporting needs
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong foundation in SQL and relational database concepts
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or similar technologies
  • Experience with or coursework in Python and/or C#
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, data integration, or data pipeline development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other ETL tools
  • Academic projects, internships, or personal projects involving data engineering or analytics
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and modern data architectures
