The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Data Engineer (NH-1560-03) to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Qualifications/Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Configuration and Data Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive configuration management processes. This role is critical to ensuring our systems and projects adhere to all required laws, policies, and standards, maintaining the integrity and traceability of our engineering data. This position may support various programs, including the C-130 enterprise, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, or the B-52 Program Office.

• Obtain & maintain a Security clearance.
• This may be a designated Drug Testing Position.
• This position requires travel.
• Demonstrated knowledge of configuration management planning, identification, change management, status accounting, verification, and audits.
• Expertise in data management, Engineering Data Management (EDM), Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO), and airworthiness requirements as specified in law, policy, and military/industry standards.
• Must obtain APDP Engineering & Technical Management Level 1 Foundational and Level 2 Practitioner certifications within the required training period and maintain continuous learning points.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
