  • Apply modern engineering practices including version control, CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, consultants and client stakeholders.
  • Understand wider business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Continuously explore new technologies and approaches to improve engineering delivery.
  • 3–6 years’ experience within Data Engineering or a closely related engineering role.
  • Strong hands-on programming experience with Python and SQL.
  • Experience designing and building production data pipelines or data-intensive applications.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering and development practices.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting data products, with a focus on data quality and reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science or another quantitative discipline with a strong academic record.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced, collaborative and client-facing environment.
