Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking a data engineer to implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects, develop and deploy data pipelines and platforms, and organize disparate data for meaningful insights. You will collaborate with data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment, applying AWS, NiFi, and MLOps concepts to enable real-time analytics.

A Bachelor's degree and Top Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with data pipelines and data architecture.
• 2+ years of ETL development using Java, Python, and SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or Kafka.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience with NiFi.
• Knowledge of the ML lifecycle and concepts to develop an MLOps ecosystem.
• Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Kafka ecosystem tools such as Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working on real-time data and streaming applications.
