Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics Team, supporting mission critical data products that power analytics, data science, and operational decision making across Dexian.

This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior level Data Engineer who enjoys hands‑on development while also influencing architecture, providing technical leadership, mentoring others, and expanding our advanced analytics capabilities. This is a great opportunity to help frame ambiguous problems, think in systems (not isolated outputs), and deliver reusable data products that scale.

You will design, build, test and maintain modern data engineering solutions contributing directly to our data modernization strategy. Take ownership of technical deliverables to ensure high-quality, reliable data solutions meet our business needs. You will also partner closely with business users across the organization to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders on data solution requirements, gaps, and feasibility.
  • Design, document, and implement clear technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and enhance data pipelines that consolidate complex datasets into unified, governed views.
  • Build and maintain analytics infrastructure used by data analysts, data scientists, AI engineers, and business partners.
  • Create scalable, maintainable software components using C#, Python, and other languages using VSCode.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines using Git/version control workflows.
  • Support test plan script development for performance, regression, and user acceptance testing as well as implement automated data quality checks, error handling, recovery processes, and replayability patterns.
  • Build and maintain data models, data mappings, transformation rules, workflows, data extractions and imports, interfaces, and object models.
  • Ensure data solutions comply with security protocols and data governance standards.
  • Share expertise with team members, mentor junior engineers, and participate in peer reviews to uphold technical standards.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree

5 to 10+ years:

  • SQL Server including T‑SQL and relational modeling experience
  • BI Warehouse / Lakehouse development
  • C# or similar programming language
  • SSIS, ADF

1 to 3 years:

  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Python / PySpark
  • Medallion Data Architecture

Strongly Preferred:

  • Experience with Statistical Analysis and Probability (Python, R)
