Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AI Data Engineer to join our team on a 10-month contract with the opportunity to extend. This fully remote position will support the development of Agenic AI-powered and conversational experiences through advanced data engineering, analysis, and pipeline architecture.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Executing data requests from senior data scientists supporting AI initiatives
• Performing ad hoc data pulls to support opportunity sizing and experimentation
• Building and maintaining robust data pipelines for AI agent initiatives
• Defining schemas and architecting scalable storage for large conversational datasets
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accessibility and usability

Typical Day Breakdown

• 50–60%: Hands-on development in SQL and Python (Databricks environment)
• 10–20%: Data analysis to drive actionable insights
• 10–20%: Collaboration with AI science, data engineering, and product teams

Required Experience/Skills

• Expertise in SQL and Python for large-scale data processing and developing data pipelines
• Experience using Databricks for pipeline development and computation
• Strong exploratory data analysis (EDA) and clickstream data experience
• Proficient in data visualization using matplotlib, seaborn, pandas, and numpy
• Familiarity with consumer product analytics and business metrics

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building ETL pipelines and supporting data infrastructure
• Dashboarding and visualization using Qlik and Tableau
• Knowledge or interest in LLMs and their enterprise applications
• Proven success in integrating user-level data with conversational AI logs

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
