Job summary

Insight Global in Atlanta is seeking a data-focused professional to design and implement SQL solutions with the ability to build applications from scratch, handling large financial, sales, and logistics data.

The role emphasizes ETL work (Azure Data Factory preferred), and creating BI dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or Alteryx, plus clear communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must have robust SQL skills and be able to write code from scratch, not just modify existing queries.
• Experience working with large datasets (financial, sales, supply chain, logistics).
• Hands-on ETL experience, preferably with Azure Data Factory or equivalent tools.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx; strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SQL solutions for complex data sets, including building applications in SQL.
• Develop ETL processes and manage data workflows across systems.
• Create BI reports and dashboards using Power BI/Tableau/Alteryx; translate business needs into analytics.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical teams and business leaders and influence outcomes.

Robust SQL skills -- should be able to write code from scratch (not just modifying existing queries) including building an application in SQL.

• Strong experience working with large sets of complex data such as financial, sales, supply chain, logistics data, etc.

• Hands-on experience with ETL, preferably with Azure Data Factory (ADF), but open to other comparable ETL tools.

• Strong experience with some form of BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.

• Extremely strong communication skills with proven experience in speaking to technical audiences and business leaders alike and influencing stakeholders and project partners to achieve results
