Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking a senior Operational Excellence leader to drive warehouse efficiency, labor standardization, and data-driven improvements across distribution operations. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop LMS integrations, and apply AI/ML where appropriate to optimize layouts and throughput.

Role requires deep experience in warehouse engineering, labor standards, and project management, with strong communication and execution skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required.
• 7+ years in Operational Excellence or related field.
• Experience with warehouse evaluations, home slotting, and slot optimization.
• Experience developing/maintaining Engineering Labor Standards (ELS) and LMS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving measurable improvements.
• Experience with change and project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous evaluations of warehouse design and throughput to drive slot optimization and layout changes.
• Oversee development and maintenance of engineered labor standards and LMS integrations.
• Utilize WMS/LMS and BI tools to optimize order-picking paths and storage utilization.
• Generate insights from data to identify bottlenecks and scalable improvements.
• Develop standardized processes, SOPs, and best practices.
• Lead learning initiatives in engineering labor standards and LMS usage.
• Guide stakeholders and teams to adopt new processes and drive changes.
