Job summary

Leggett & Platt in the United States is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to translate large data sets into actionable insights. You will develop KPI dashboards, analyze workflows, and support distribution planning with quantitative methods.

Youll collaborate across functions to mine data for best practices in stock placement, forecast demand, and improve inventory and production planning. The role requires 3–5+ years in data analytics and strong SQL/ETL skills.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years in data analysis and building business cases.
  • 2+ years in dashboarding, data visualization, and reporting.
  • 2+ years in SQL and large dataset manipulation.
  • Advanced SQL, ETL, data modeling and Big Data experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new BI technologies.
  • Ability to translate requirements into analyses and insights.
  • Experience in an ERP/MRP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Examine workflows and use quantitative methods to improve processes.
  • Data mining to identify best practices in stock placement and logistics.
  • Design, maintain, and analyze supply chain metrics.
  • Report shortages of raw materials to purchasing and track responses.
  • Execute and maintain ad hoc analyses across the Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate across functions to define data needs and build models.
  • Support demand forecasting, inventory and production planning.
  • Gather and integrate data quickly and adapt plans to new information.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and manage initiatives from idea to execution.
  • Assist with Exposure Planning to mitigate exposure.
