Wolverine Advanced Materials in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a Sourcing & Supply Chain Analyst to keep raw materials and services flowing across North America. You’ll own material planning, inventory, supplier performance, and cost optimization.

Reporting to the Master Scheduling Product Manager, you will turn supply chain data into actionable recommendations for leadership while ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain analysis, or procurement.
• Hands-on experience with material planning, inventory management, and MRP-driven planning.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, purchasing processes, and inventory control.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, including total-cost-of-ownership analysis.
• Confidence presenting data and recommendations to leadership, raising risks early, and influencing without authority.

Responsabilités

• Drive supplier on-time delivery and corrective actions.
• Manage vendors supporting development and new projects.
• Build material plans from demand signals and production schedules.
• Manage raw material inventory and review safety stock quarterly.
• Analyze spend by category, supplier, and site for savings.
• Monitor markets and assess pricing and supply impacts.
• Track PPV, savings, and procurement KPIs; prepare monthly reports.
• Protect customer on-time delivery by ensuring material availability.
• Assess single-source, geographic, and capacity risks; mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with Quality and Finance on qualification, budgeting, forecasting.
• Keep ERP data accurate; improve reports and processes.
• Support tariff, import/export, and trade compliance analysis.
