Job summary

DATABASE USA LLC is seeking a Data-Centric Software Developer to bridge massive data assets with high-performance delivery systems. You will architect ETL pipelines, optimize databases, and manage AWS infrastructure to support API and analytics platforms.

You will also collaborate with product teams to refine APIs and automate data cleansing workflows, ensuring data integrity and usability across our research platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with ETL tools, especially Alteryx, including spatial objects.
• Proficiency in SQL and scalable database design for business firmographics or consumer datasets.
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Backend development in Python or Node.js to support API development.
• Understanding data integrity and usability of information.

Responsibilities

• Architect ETL Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain ETL workflows using Alteryx and scripts.
• Optimize Database Performance: Evolve database schemas for high-frequency API queries and exports.
• Own the Cloud: Maintain and scale AWS environment for availability, security and cost-efficiency.
• Enable Integration: Collaborate with product team to develop APIs for customer apps.
• Modernize Workflows: Identify opportunities to automate data cleansing and grouping tasks.
