Job summary

Southern Arkansas University is seeking a Social Science Research Analyst to support monitoring and evaluation across programs serving youth, conducting studies, and presenting findings to leadership and stakeholders.

The role requires a behavioral or social science background (or equivalent) and specialized experience at the GS-11 level. This is a not-remote, on-site position with a focus on data-informed program improvement.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Degree in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
• OR Combination of education and experience providing knowledge of one or more behavioral/social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
• OR Four years of appropriate experience demonstrating knowledge of one or more behavioral/social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

Responsibilities

• Developing and conducting studies, evaluations, and analyses of the organization's programs to ensure quantitative and qualitative data are gathered, analyzed, and used to understand program outputs, outcomes, and efficiency.
• Implementing, examining, and collecting monitoring data across programs and producing an annual monitoring analysis report highlighting findings and impact of grantee services on client outcomes.
• Preparing briefings, presenting research, analysis and evaluation findings to staff, leadership and stakeholders.
• Reviewing program documentation, incident reports, monitoring data, and other materials to identify trends, evaluate performance, and support corrective actions.
