Dartmouth College Libraries is seeking a Research Data Librarian in Hanover, NH, to develop and deliver data-intensive services for economics and business research. You will coordinate data services, provide research consultations, and collaborate with campus partners to expand data platforms and curricular resources.

This hybrid, regular full-time role focuses on liaison work, teaching, and program assessment, with 40 hours per week and 12 months per year.

Qualifications

• ALA-accredited masters degree in library and/or information science and 2+ years postgraduate experience.
• Experience preparing data for analysis and visualization.
• Proficiency with data analysis/visualization tools (Stata, SPSS, R, Python).
• Knowledge of resources in economics, business and/or finance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork.
• Strong organizational skills and project management.

Responsabilités

• Provide information, research consulting and data services in a dynamic library environment.
• Coordinate with the economics liaison and other data-intensive programs and centers.
• Develop, deliver and assess data services for research data and curricular needs.
• Collaborate to implement data platforms, resources and instruction across Dartmouth.
• Ensure responsible handling of sensitive data following protocols and best practices.
• Support teaching and outreach to faculty, students and staff.
