Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a quality technician to test and inspect products throughout production, record data, and ensure conformance to drawings and standards. The role requires strong metrology skills, basic math, and proficiency with office software.

You will interpret drawings, perform destructive and non-destructive tests, and prepare reports to support quality decisions. This is a full-time, on-site position in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Metrology tools: gauges, micrometers and other equipment to check parts to blueprint specs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn quality/production software used at Potter.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, memos, and write simple correspondence.
• Strong reasoning skills to apply instructions and solve problems with few variables.
• Strong mathematical skills: fractions, percentages, area, volume and basic algebra.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect products at various stages of production.
• Record test data and apply statistical quality control procedures.
• Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to validate conformance.
• Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials and parts.
• Prepare graphs/charts and write reports to communicate deviations from standards.
