Job summary

DLH Corporation seeks a Production Control Clerk in Norfolk, VA to provide essential production, logistics, and administrative support. You will compile, maintain, and report production data, prepare schedules, and support procurement and material-control activities to ensure efficient workflow.

The role involves coordinating with production, warehouse, and government personnel to provide timely information for planning, execution, and decision-making in a federal program environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Logistics/Warehousing, Database maintenance, and Quality Control.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Logistics support for projects involving electronic/electrical repair and installation, ordering, acquisition, distribution of material, equipment, and resources.
• Compiling and recording production data for government command to compare records regarding volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
• Performing any combination of duties: compiling and recording production data from documents such as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and worker sheets.
• Calculating types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, defects, and production rates.
• Writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed.
• Maintaining files of documents used and prepared.
• Compiling production sheets or work tickets for production workers.
• Preparing schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
• Compiling material inventory records and preparing requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
• Charting production using charts, graphs, or pegboards for reference by production and management.
• Any additional tasking as assigned by the Project Manager
