Job summary

Nautilus Insurance Group, a Berkley Company, is seeking a strategic Product Lead in Scottsdale to own no-touch underwriting solutions and guide the product strategy through technology and innovation.

You will partner with Actuarial, IT, and Underwriting teams to define risk criteria, pricing, and AI-enabled quoting. This hybrid role emphasizes data-driven decisions and collaboration with distribution partners to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; AU or CPCU strongly preferred.
• 10+ years Commercial P&C underwriting experience, including 3+ years in E&S; prior Product Development or Portfolio ownership preferred.
• Demonstrated success designing underwriting programs and partnering with actuarial/data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for no-touch underwriting solutions, including development of risk selection criteria, policy language, underwriting guidelines, and pricing methodology.
• Partner with our IT team to identify necessary system integrations and various Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities to deliver a seamless quoting experience.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, user feedback, and strategic alignment.
• Monitor production results, conversion trends, and profitability
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external distribution partners
• Support Line of Business leader to prioritize projects and initiatives that support the organization’s strategic goals. This includes but is not limited to active participation in the development and execution of strategic plans tied to assigned portfolio and ensuring associated project deliverables are met.
