Job summary

PrimeSource Building Products, Inc. is seeking a Network Optimization Analyst in Irving, TX to support route governance, data management, and analytics across transportation networks.

You will maintain master data, run models, build dashboards, and provide actionable insights to improve service, route efficiency, and capacity utilization. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus experience in logistics analytics, routing, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
• Experience in transportation, routing, fleet operations, logistics analytics, or network optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and presentation tools; experience with dashboards or BI tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, document work, and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer assignments, route codes, delivery days, route descriptions, and related transportation master data.
• Validate network change requests and ensure updates are accurate, documented, communicated, and completed on time.
• Review and correct configuration issues affecting service, dock flow, warehouse staging, routing, or operational execution.
• Support route optimization, network modeling, fleet-capacity analysis, mapping, and scenario development.
• Analyze delivery-day adherence, route utilization, route density, demand, service, capacity, and fleet performance.
• Validate data across SAP TM, reporting platforms, trackers, and source systems; investigate discrepancies.
• Translate model outputs into observations, recommendations, and implementation actions.
• Support implementation of route, delivery-frequency, customer-assignment, and network configuration changes.
• Develop holiday, inventory, and recovery schedules, including alternate delivery-day recommendations.
• Participate in system testing, training, and deployment of transportation tools and processes.
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reports for KPI monitoring.
• Develop Tableau Prep flows, calculated fields, transformations, joins, unions, and scheduled refreshes.
• Validate dashboard results against SAP TM and other sources; resolve data, refresh, calculation, and reporting issues.
