• Must meet state and federal guidelines to be Highly Qualified under ESSA.
• Current authorization to work in the United States by day one of employment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency teaching Black and Brown students from diverse backgrounds.
• Practice cultural competence and best-practice support for varied socioeconomic experiences.
• Create a positive, safe, and collaborative classroom environment.
• Strengthen classroom community through BRICK values and mission.
• Implement unit/lesson plans to accelerate learning and social-emotional development.
• Use data from observations and assessments to inform instruction and adjust as needed.
• Attend required meetings and participate in professional development.
• Collaborate with coaches and peers to share best practices.
• Engage families and build strong trusting relationships.
