Job summary

Anonymous is seeking an Operations Controller to serve as the analytical backbone of our fulfillment and logistics network. This role translates Sales, Inventory and Freight data into actionable operational strategies, monitors performance, and drives cost efficiencies across the distribution network.

Collaborating with Commercial and Operations teams, you will own dashboards, model capacity for peak periods, and provide executive-level recommendations to maximize profitability and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as business analytics, supply chain management, logistics, accounting, finance, statistics or industrial engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in a distribution environment with emphasis on operations analysis, inventory planning, and logistics data.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• High-level mastery of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, and carrier shipping software.
• Ability to mine large datasets and translate insights into executive summaries and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze stock levels and supplier capacity to optimize inventory placement and minimize stockouts/overstocks.
• Monitor SKU-level velocity and flag high-demand or slow-moving items for markdown strategies.
• Track shrinkage, returns, and damages; perform root-cause analyses for ERP vs WMS discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning and Marketing to model capacity ahead of peak seasons and launches.
• Develop and report fulfillment KPIs: cycle time, pick-and-pack accuracy, labor, and CPO.
• Benchmark and audit 3PL performance and optimize warehouse layout and processes.
• Conduct cost-to-serve analyses to optimize landed costs and freight decisions.
• Create data models to simulate adding new fulfillment nodes or changing picking methods.
• Analyze end-to-end transportation data to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Build dashboards tracking carrier performance such as on-time delivery and tender acceptance.
• Perform freight audits to detect billing errors and hidden charges.
