Job summary

Therapy Source, Inc. is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to provide in-person services for public school students in New Jersey for the upcoming school year.

The role requires a State License in New Jersey with Teacher of Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification, and Math and Science classroom experience. Compensation is an hourly rate of $47-$52 with flexible scheduling and strong support from our account team.

Qualifications

• State license in New Jersey is required.
• Teacher of Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate is required.
• Math and science classroom experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Implementing specially designed instruction to drive student achievement.
• Conducting progress monitoring data and adjusting instruction based on the data.
• Establishing a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom.
• Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning.
• Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills.
• Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students.
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings.
