The Basic Skills Paraprofessional provides targeted academic support to students in English reading and/or math through small-group and individual interventions. This position works collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Basic Skills Coordinator to implement instructional strategies, monitor student progress, collect data, and support student growth.

Responsabilidades

• Provide English reading and/or math interventions to support students experiencing academic challenges.
• Assist classroom teachers with literacy assessments and instructional support.
• Collect and maintain student data to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to discuss student goals, instructional strategies, and academic growth.
• Meet regularly with the Basic Skills Coordinator to review student progress and refine intervention strategies.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities as assigned.
• Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Basic Skills Coordinator or Building Principal.
