Job summary

Marsh seeks an Employee Research Consultant to design and execute engagement surveys, analyze data with SPSS and R, and deliver data-driven insights to executives. The role blends analytics with client-facing advisory work in a hybrid setup based in Philadelphia or Washington, DC.

The position demands a Master's in I/O Psychology and 4–5 years of survey experience, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to craft compelling reports and presentations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (or related field).
• At least 4–5 years of employee research, engagement or organizational assessment survey experience.
• Strong statistical analysis and ability to run data and design data structures using SPSS and/or R.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, index matching) and strong PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills.
• Proven project management skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support companies in the design and execution of engagement and total rewards strategies.
• Lead projects creating survey content, analyzing data, and telling the data-based story.
• Use AI and technology-enabled tools to enhance insights.
• Collaborate with clients to create, launch and administer engagement surveys and present results to executives.
• Partner with consultants to plan analytic approaches and project plans.
• Develop expertise in surveys from start to finish and advise managers on data use.
• Contribute to thought leadership in research and client work.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis, including regression modeling using SPSS and R.
• Independently develop customized client reports from statistical outcomes.
