Job summary

Georgia Tech's Office of Sustainability is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to track and report on campus energy and water usage, GHG emissions, and waste diversion. The role involves development of annual inventory, tracking building energy portfolios, and benchmarking utilities efficiency.

The position collaborates with Sustainability staff, Facilities management, and utility partners to support conservation initiatives and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Overnight travel required for project delivery; flexibility in on-site daily service delivery hours.
  • Two to three years of job related experience.
  • FE / EIT / PE credentials or master's degree in a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Audit, analyze, and report on purchased utility service usage and pricing.
  • Calculate and benchmark utility costs and usage campus-wide.
  • Provide institute reporting for GHG emissions, STARS, utilities, and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate to maintain a complete inventory of sustainability metrics and engage students.
  • Investigate and analyze alternative energy, water, and waste options.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
