Job summary

StarTekk Inc is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst Consultant to join a data management program. The role focuses on SQL development, data analysis, data warehouse requirements, and S2T mapping to bridge business and technology gaps.

The ideal candidate will work with stakeholders and technical teams in an Agile environment, define requirements, develop technical specs, support data integration, ensure data quality, and contribute to testing and UAT processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years serving as a liaison between business and technical teams for data integration, including S2T mapping.
• Minimum 5 years developing complex SQL queries.
• Minimum 5 years gathering requirements and developing user stories.
• Minimum 5 years translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Minimum 2 years testing, data reconciliation, and UAT.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to design and implement efficient data integration processes.
• Create and maintain Source-to-Target (S2T) mapping documentation.
• Write and analyze complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Gather business requirements and develop user stories.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis and analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and discrepancies.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Perform data reconciliation and validate testing results.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Conduct gap analysis and cost-benefit analysis as needed.
• Gather and refine requirements for reports and dashboards.
• Create and maintain system documentation, design specifications, and user guides.
• Support data quality, data governance, and data security initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Provide training and guidance to end users on business and systems analysis methodologies.
