Strategic Data Systems (SDS) is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for onsite work in Cincinnati. The role partners with business and IT leads to translate requirements, build timelines, and oversee testing programs including UAT.

The ideal candidate will use SQL for data testing, create Power BI reports, and drive projects from design through implementation in a contract-to-hire path.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and initiative to drive requirements.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in SQL and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboards.
• Ability to plan, design, run projects and testing programs.
• Experience executing Testing and UAT activities.
• Clear written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Line of Business, Product Owner, and Technical leads to capture and document requirements.
• Create and manage project timelines and testing plans including UAT execution.
• Learn processes and technologies quickly and communicate clearly with non-technical audiences.
• Develop and run SQL scripts for data testing and ETL validation.
• Support data platforms and drive analytics improvements and documentation.
• Mentor teammates and manage multiple assignments effectively.
