University of Massachusetts Amherst Foundation is seeking a Business Intelligence & Analytics Analyst to build, maintain, and improve UMAF's reporting and data assets in a hands-on role.

The role focuses on Tableau and Snowflake, delivering dashboards for fundraising performance and donor engagement, while supporting a self-serve reporting environment and accurate data documentation for non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in data analytics, CS, statistics, or business.
• Experience building Tableau dashboards or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and traceable data lineage.
• Ability to document query logic and dashboard methodology.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains Tableau dashboards and reports supporting fundraising performance, donor engagement, and advancement operations tracking.
• Prepares ad hoc data pulls and analysis in response to requests from advancement staff and leadership.
• Validates and reconciles report outputs against trusted data sources before delivery.
• Designs visualizations that are clear and actionable for non-technical audiences.
