Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a BI Analyst (Data-Focused) to own the extraction, transformation, and validation of data from multiple sources to support business analysis and reporting. You will write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to power dashboards, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.

Design scalable datasets and data models to support business domains and collaborate with business and technical teams to define data requirements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex joins, window functions, and query optimization.
• Experience working with large, relational datasets and building data models for analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Databricks/Hive/Snowflake schemas).
• Experience with Microsoft Access or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the extraction, transformation, and validation of data from multiple sources for business analysis.

• Design and build scalable datasets and data models to support business domains.

• Develop automated reporting and data pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key business drivers, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformations, and reporting logic.
