Job summary

Amazon is seeking a motivated, early-career Business Analyst to develop expertise in data analytics and business intelligence. The role involves designing automated data pipelines, analytical modeling, and data visualization, with Python and SQL as core tools.

You will contribute to cross-functional projects, providing actionable insights and scalable reporting to inform pricing, cost optimization, and shipper experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• 1+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience.
• 1+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience.
• Knowledge of SQL.

Responsibilities

• Execute data management processes including accessing raw data feeds, building queries, writing code, organizing data, and designing reports that present status-at-a-glance visualization for business performance.
• Retrieve and analyze large data sets using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems to design and implement reporting solutions that enable stakeholders to make effective decisions.
• Take ownership of assigned reporting processes (typically 3–5 recurring reports) to ensure accuracy and timeliness, with support from senior analysts for complex data quality issues.
• Build and maintain assigned KPIs following team standards and best practices, monitoring existing metrics and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
• Identify and propose improvements to customer experience and operational processes, implementing approved changes with team support.
