Job summary

Futures Training Center in Corona, CA seeks a Position Player Skill Development Coach to execute sports skill programs for baseball and softball athletes. You will lead hitting, infield, and catching sessions, ensuring accurate data capture and progress tracking while fostering a positive learning environment.

The role emphasizes biomechanics, high-speed video analysis, and using data-driven tools to optimize player development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred for candidates.
• Experience coaching at collegiate or professional level preferred.
• Playing experience at collegiate or professional level preferred.
• Hitting and catching experience strongly recommended.
• Familiarity with biomechanics and data-driven training tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute training programs designed by Coordinator.
• Capture data and report athlete progress accurately.
• Lead or assist in skill sessions (hitting, infield, catching).
• Maintain facility cleanliness and equipment.
• Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings; assist with programming Skill Sessions.

Education

Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Coaching experience (Preferred)

Playing experience (Preferred)

Hitting & Catching experience (Strongly Recommend)
