Job summary

Lone Star College-CyFair is seeking an Analyst I, School Partnerships and Academic Success to perform division budgeting, economic, and financial analysis and reporting, including budget preparation, formulation, presentation, execution, and policy development. You will monitor expenditures, process purchases, and create cost analyses and trend reports for ISD leadership.

Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, Python, R, and SQL will be used to develop actionable insights and visualizations for

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in budgeting/financial analysis.
Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Planning and PeopleSoft FSCM.
Ability to analyze data and present clear reports and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Monitor division expenditures and budgets for School Partnerships and Academic Success; assist with budget issues and review personnel/payroll forms as assigned.
Monitor queries to ensure system processes are running and provide timely information for payment.
Collaborate with departments and serve as a point of contact for leadership; provide training and support as needed.
Monitor and process purchases; work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues.
Create and analyze reports; complete cost analyses and trend reports for leadership and local ISDs.
