Job summary

TransUnion seeks a Consultant, Data Asset Management to support lifecycle management of prioritized data domains. You’ll work with senior data product managers and cross-functional partners to onboard, standardize, monitor quality, and enhance data assets for reliable, scalable use.

Hybrid role requiring in-person attendance at a TU office at least two days per week, with emphasis on data standards, schemas, and KPI tracking to align sources with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, economics, finance or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in data, product management, analytics, or related roles.
• Foundational understanding of data concepts, including data structures, quality, and lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to support delivery of data or product initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build understanding of assigned data domains, including data sources and use cases.
• Support domain leads in managing data domains and aligning them to priorities.
• Assist in design and implementation of data schemas for ingestion and storage.
• Monitor data domains for quality, completeness, and consistency and elevate gaps.
• Support development and tracking of data quality standards, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with data users and stakeholders to improve data usability.
• Understand how data is used in analytics and products downstream.
• Contribute to initiatives to enhance, replace, or retire data assets.
• Coordinate across teams to execute data requirements and structured data solutions.
