Job summary

TD Bank, Technology Solutions, is seeking a Data Designer II to translate business data extraction and consumption requirements into technical specifications. The role focuses on data ingestion, curation, and consumption, drafting designs that support analytical initiatives when requirements are unclear.

Will document, prototype, and validate current and future-state data flow processes. The candidate will provide SME guidance, work with very large datasets, and leverage visualization tools

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or technical certificate with 3+ years of relevant experience in data, statistics, or financial domains.
Expert-level analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of data ingestion, curation, and consumption.

Responsibilities

Provides expert guidance on data impact assessments and data risk mitigation.
Develops and maintains knowledge of data from upstream sources and platforms.
Identifies critical data elements to support data governance and data management programs.
Ensures data is retained and disposed according to enterprise standards.
Leads data profiling using TD tooling and ad hoc queries to validate prototypes.
Collaborates with partners to ensure project success and data quality.
