MCS Puerto Rico seeks a data governance professional to guide data-intensive projects, coordinate IT resources, and ensure enterprise standards across data initiatives.
The role focuses on data mapping, data quality, governance compliance, and collaboration with enterprise partners to deliver reliable analytics outcomes.
Responsible for providing a variety of tasks that guide and position data-intensive projects/programs for success. This is accomplished by understanding data requirements, coordinating work across IT, and ensuring resources are following appropriate practices and enterprise standards. This role may also be tasked to present experience and learning from various projects to/from the current, future, and past to enable a continuous improvement mindset within the data space.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or an IT-related field. At least five (5) years of prior experience in data warehouse, database administration, and Cloud-based data integration service experience is required.

Certifications / Licenses: N/A
Other: Skills in multiple programming languages, including Json, and knowledge of database design. Knowledge of data profiling, root cause analysis, and quality improvement techniques. Proficiency with Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Integration Services, and Data Warehouse technologies is highly desired.
