Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, HCI, UX/UI, Data Visualization, CS, or Data Science
• 5+ years of experience with design of data visualization, dashboards, analytics, or complex workflow design

Responsibilities

• Lead user interviews, surveys, usability studies, concept tests, and rapid experiments to understand how customers and internal users interact with AI and data products
• Identify opportunities where AI, ML, or automation can reduce cognitive load, improve decision quality, or accelerate operational response
• Design dashboards, monitoring views, alerting systems, and AI-assisted workflows for real-time operations and retrospective analysis
• Define visual hierarchy, interaction models, thresholds, and status semantics so critical signals are readable, explainable, and actionable
• Build prototypes, wireframes, mockups, and design concepts to test AI feature assumptions, prompt behaviors, data storytelling approaches, and model output presentation
• Translate complex data sets, telemetry streams, predictive indicators, and ML outputs into clear visual narratives for business and operational users
• Partner with data engineers, AI scientists, data scientists, product managers, and UX researchers to align user needs, technical feasibility, model constraints, and product priorities
• Design with auditability, explainability, traceability, and regulated GDP/GxP environments in mind

We are seeking Data Designer to design intuitive, data-driven, and AI-enabled product experiences for cold chain logistics. This role will focus on transforming complex telemetry, operational data, predictive insights, and machine learning outputs into clear, trusted, and actionable user experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong visual design and UX craft with data visualization expertise, AI product literacy, and a practical understanding of how users make decisions in high-stakes operational environments.

This person will partner closely with product managers, data engineers, data scientists, and UX researchers to shape AI-assisted workflows, dashboards, alerts, and decision-support experiences.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI Design, Data Visualization, Computer Science, or Data Science
• 5+ years of experience with design of data visualization (tools such as Figma, Tableau, D3.js, or Adobe Illustrator), dashboard, analytics, or complex workflow design

Preferred Qualifications

• Life sciences, cold chain, pharmaceutical logistics, or temperature-controlled supply chain experience.
• Experience at monitoring, observability, IoT, telematics, cold chain, logistics, healthcare analytics, or financial data company.
• Working knowledge of GDP/GxP concepts, excursions, stability budgets, lane qualification, or regulated quality workflows.
• Working knowledge of databases, data processing, analytics concepts, and AI/ML capabilities, including LLMs, RAG workflows, predictive models, and model output limitations.
• Translate abstract or complex data sets into clear, human-centered visual narratives and interaction patterns
• Strong generalist UX skills, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, and high-fidelity interface design
• Experience designing for enterprise SaaS products used by operational, quality, supply chain, or customer support teams

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation

Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
