Job summary
Oregon Housing & Community Services (OHCS) is hiring for a Data Coordinator for our Affordable Rental Division - Production Section in Salem, Oregon. This role uses data tools to inform underwriting practices and streamline the closing process, with a focus on data integrity and national best practices.
The successful candidate will have several years of experience in loan analysis or underwriting, and a degree that substitutes for experience.
Qualifications
- Three years' experience in either: Preparing or analyzing residential, commercial, or public sector loan applications using cash flow, financial statements, historical and annual operation analyses; including collections and foreclosure procedures.
- -OR- Processing real estate transactions including qualifying, evaluating and extending credit to borrowers, and property inspections.
- -OR- Marketing, analyzing, servicing, or underwriting residential, commercial, or public sector loans; or Economic or community development.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field may substitute for the experience. An Associate's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration or a related field may substitute for 18 months of experience.

The Production Section of the Affordable Rental Housing Division administers federal, and state funded multifamily rental housing resources to facilitate the increased availability of safe, decent, and affordable housing for Oregonians with low incomes. The Production section administers competitive processes as well as other processes to dedicate funding resources. The section ensures policy objectives are met while meeting local needs and statewide priorities. The section also ensures long-term affordability through its financing.
