Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Data Coordinator I to review, clean, audit, and extract data to support sharing and reporting. You will generate basic to moderately complex reports, ensure data accuracy, and serve as a resource for database users across teams.

The role emphasizes data quality, collaboration with IT, and the ability to train staff on database usage while supporting regulatory and internal reporting needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • No experience required. One year of database application management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collects data and generates basic and moderately complex reports as required, including internal reporting as requested by management.
  • Reviews and audits database on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Recommends solutions for any data management issues.
  • Assists in training of staff with varying degrees of knowledge to effectively use the database system.
  • Assists staff with technical issues related to the database.
  • Uses knowledge of the database to extract data and generate required reports and queries for statistical analyses in varying formats as requested.
  • Updates database as required and acts as a liaison with IT with any more complex technical issues or software updates.
  • May oversee data entry staff to ensure data accuracy.
  • May access data in the Data Warehouse.
  • Performs other duties as required.
