Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA in San Francisco is seeking hands-on data-collection specialists to operate robotics platforms, collect high-quality data via teleoperation with Vision Pro and motion capture systems, and perform basic annotations.

Shift Hours: 1st Shift (7:00am-3:00pm)

We are looking for hands‑on individuals to operate multiple robotics platforms and collect high‑quality raw data through various collection methods, including teleoperation via VR headsets and motion capture systems (suits and gloves).

The candidate will:

• Collect data on our specific robotic platforms via teleoperation with a vision pro
• Collect data in a motion capture setup, doing tasks with their own hands
• Perform some simple annotations and quality control on the data they collect

The candidate should have:

• Experience running basic commands on a terminal
• Generally good coordination skills/dexterity
• General strength/health to collect data for a few hours in a row (breaks are encouraged, but it can still be tiring)
• Good vision (doesn't need glasses) or can wear contacts (in order to operate the Vision Pro)
• Software familiarity
• Experience operating robots
• Experience with data collection or annotations

Compensation Range: $$28.50/hour

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job‑related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
