About the Position:

The Data Clerk will be responsible for entering all data into the Automated Reentry Management System (ARMS) within the integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). This role involves managing data entry operations, adhering to policies and procedures related to data security, and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.

What You Will Do:

  1. Perform daily data entry related to services provided at ISUDTP.
  2. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of service data entered.
  3. Maintain data security according to the ARMS Data Sharing Agreement and protect health information.
  4. Follow policies ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security, including proper documentation of participant requests and authorization for information release.
  5. Uphold best practices for data security and confidentiality.
  6. Prepare and maintain daily participation logs and generate weekly and monthly reports for CDCR.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  1. Experience in a supervisory role is an asset.
  2. Understanding of substance abuse causes, symptoms, and effects, including behavioral, psychological, physical, and social impacts.
  3. Knowledge of contractual requirements for ISUDTP Data Management.
  4. Familiarity with treatment models and placement options for participants.
  5. Operational proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large data volumes.
  7. Ability to implement data requirements, reporting deadlines, and procedural updates as directed by CDCR.
  8. Professionalism, effective work habits, and responsible conduct.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
