Job summary

Garratt-Callahan is seeking a Water Treatment Construction Coordinator to lead data center water treatment projects from initiation to close-out. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities with significant travel and potential remote work.

Ideal candidates hold a 4-year technical science degree with experience in chemical/mechanical engineering and 3+ years in water treatment, plus supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year technical degree in the sciences.
• Background in chemical and/or mechanical engineering recommended.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial chemical and equipment water treatment.
• 3+ years of supervising experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Google Docs OK.
• Travel 30–40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Works with consultants, architects and mechanical contractors to ensure projects are completed at data centers.
• Develops and maintains relationships with client engineers and operating personnel.
• Attends customer sync meetings as invited.
• Assists Construction Manager in preparing client submittals, drawings and proposals.
• Provides recommendations, supervises and assists in the installation, sale and servicing of water treatment systems.
• Provides technical and start-up training to clients and employees of clients.
• Attend weekly Chemistry Operations Manager Meetings
