About Us

The Yahoo Data Center Operations Team is composed of skilled support technicians and engineers dedicated to operating and maintaining the most efficient and environmentally friendly data centers globally. We support a diverse IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance for Yahoo users worldwide.

Your Role

We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. Ideal candidates will have experience in supply chain and logistics, with a willingness to contribute actively and flexibly to team success. The role involves being active, busy, and collaborative across various roles.

Daily Responsibilities

• Coordinate, receive, and document deliveries, including small packages and large shipments requiring heavy equipment.
• Pack and ship equipment as needed.
• Use various systems for receipts, shipments, and inventory management.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean loading dock and staging area.
• Assess the condition of received items and handle follow-up for damages.
• Order and stock office and breakroom supplies.

Requirements

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a drive for excellence.
• At least 3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse roles.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, and packaging tools.
• Familiarity with Google tools (Gmail, Docs, Forms).
• Basic Excel skills, including formulas and data manipulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
