Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Technical Staff — Data Center Thermal Architect for its Austin, Texas team. This role focuses on designing and guiding end-to-end Thermal architectures for AI-enabled data centers, including air and liquid cooling, power distribution, and rack solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with customers on architectural requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of heat transfer and cooling technologies.
• Solid understanding of data center power and thermal components.
• Ability to travel 20%-30%.
• Experience working with ODMs on mechanical/thermal/electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end architecture from server to data center, including air and liquid cooled servers and rack solutions.
• Innovate power-centric IT solutions for dense environments.
• Optimize cost, energy efficiency and performance from IT to data center.
• Engage with high-profile AI customers to optimize solutions and tuning.
• Define hardware topologies optimized for AI workloads.
