Job summary

Outsource is hiring a Data Center Technician in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role focuses on installing and maintaining low voltage cabling in data centers or commercial environments, with immediate need and a $22/hr+ DOE pay rate.

Responsibilities include pulling and routing cables, terminating jacks, setting up racks and patch panels, and following industry standards. Eligible candidates can enroll in medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Recent experience installing low voltage cable in data center or new construction environments.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards preferred.
• Experience reading schematics and line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and routing CAT5/CAT6 or fiber in data center or new construction sites.
• Dressing, labeling, and terminating low voltage wires.
• Installing support structures (ladder racks, racks, etc.).
• Terminating voice/data jacks and distribution frames.
• Rack and stack work, assembling server racks and patch panels.
