Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Waterloo, US. You will support mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities, performing installations, migrations, decommissions, and routine maintenance.

The position requires 2+ years in data centers, strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber), server hardware experience (Dell, HP, Supermicro), and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
